Interesting status of my gas mileage

Looking at my trip 2 screen which I don’t reset very often, it appears since my total miles is less than my electric miles my gas mileage should be less than zero. Not sure how this could be, does anyone have and explanation? Or am I looking at it wrong?

There's no 10,000 digit on the trip meter.
So you've gone 14,387.9 since resetting trip 2, 4486 electrtic.

I reset Trip 2 when I bought the truck. 42,039 miles, 17,941 electric.

I understand this, but don't understand how they didn't design it better. There's plenty of screen space to continue the line ffs.

Perhaps if the Total miles is 24387.

That would make electric almost 60%.

You see each drive report when you stop though - are you noticing mostly over 50% EV miles?

I'm sure the designers figured if any of the miles are wrapping around to 10K - then the Trips really aren't being used for trips and probably not being looked at - so why bother.

They just don't realize some of us like to keep 1 of the Trips for oil/filter change intervals.
And that's always wrapping over 10K...
