I have a 2023 Maverick Hybrid that I picked up in May. For a while, grabbing the passenger door handle unlocked it just as it always has with the driver's door.

Everything I've read in these forums suggest it was specific to the 2022 model. I tried the "fix" (steering wheel menu, locks, toggle Intelligent Access on/off) and that doesn't work. I have tried toggling it off/on. I have tried toggling it off, locking the doors, unlocking the doors and toggling it on. I've tried toggling it off, exiting the truck, locking it, re-entering the truck, toggling it back on. Nothing seems to get it to work again.

Any suggestions? I read someone had tried disconnecting the battery for 10 seconds. Haven't tried that yet.

Deep sleep turns off the passenger side, any chance the vehicle went into deep sleep?

This is my issue with the crappy 12V battery. I also don't get interior lights. So much fun when I work nights.

Edited: yeah, messages in the app indicate this but I've never had any issues/alerts with my battery being low once I get in the vehicle.

Mine sometimes sends them well above the SoC threshold, sort of weird. - Installed a battery monitor a few weeks back. Usually 20-30 minutes after key off, during draw time. Then level pops up to 70% or higher.

Factory battery isn't hardy, but tests good, recharge. Ready to try cramming a H5 in there....and they're vented.

Hi there! Would you send us a private message with your VIN and dealership name and location? I’d like to look into this concern on my end.

I had some deep sleep issues as well, including the passenger Intelligent Access not working. I finally got a battery tender and battery monitor. Since then, the passenger door has been working fine.

(I think my biggest culprit was a dashcam that I had plugged into the OBD port, causing it to run all night. I also picked up an OBD on/off switch, and that's solved that problem as well.)

I find that in cold weather my Maverick goes into deep sleep mode, which disables intelligent access on the passenger door and other remote features and also prevents the overhead lights from turning on when any door is opened, to conserve battery energy. You can verify this state by checking messages in the Ford Pass app.
If this condition is not due to cold weather, I would like to know.

Also I've noticed you have to use at least 2 fingers inside the handle to unlock, and touch finger to at least two of the nubs on top of the handle to lock. Both require about a half second contact, can't just slap them..
