How do you only have 2500 miles on your truck? Sell it!!! You’re not enjoying it anyway! I’ve got a 22 XLT HYBRID and already have 36k on the odometer. Take the loot and runI ran my Maverick XL Ecoboost AWD 4K tow through Carvana's website to see what they would offer me.
More than $11,000 more than i paid for it. Should I sell?
Just wondering if you have already registered your Maverick when you ran it through Carvana? I think you need to provide a VIN number to get an offer but don’t know if I will get an offer without it being built yet. I got sick of waiting and bought something else and the following week my Tremor got scheduled for June. So now I either walk away or flip it.I ran my Maverick XL Ecoboost AWD 4K tow through Carvana's website to see what they would offer me.

All those costs also get deducted from the $11K to calculate the capital gains. That and don't forget the sales tax you paid when buying the truck, and any sunk costs of interest if you've been making payments. Might not quite be $11k in pure profit.
I thought Florida was oversaturated. I have a fully loaded 2023 Lariat hybrid with BAP. Sticker price was $36,200. Carvana only offered me $34,000.May be a hotter market for them in FL than in GA???

The filing status, single, married, etc., has different income limits for capital gains. For singles, it is $44,625 for example.I think you might not pay capital gains if your income is under $40000. Definitely talk to a tax advisor.

Thanks. My only income is social security. About $20k a year. The filing status, single, married, etc., has different income limits for capital gains. For singles, it is $44,625 for example.
It also depends on how long the asset (the Maverick) had been held. If it is less than a year, there's no capital gain tax, just the regular income tax.

Again Math:He got it from granger for 3k off msrp after selling his 3% under invoice maverick he got from Chapman to caravana for a massive profit already. (Based on OPs post history)
I will tell you all the complete story with all the details when the check clears.Again Math:
From the August 2021 price list :
XL $19,995
adding AWD $3,305
adding 4K Tow Package $745
Destination and Delivery Charge $1,495
Total is $25,540
Now take off $3,000 from Grangers Deal
Total is $22,540
Granger's fees are:
$3,000 OFF MSRP on any new Retail Maverick order placed from December 27th through January 24th.
$3,000 OFF - DEAL CLOSED - Fight OFF the Price Increase with Granger Ford
$100 Non-Refundable Deposit Required
Only 2.0L Orders are being taken currently by Ford
As always $180 Doc Fee, $45 In-transit fee.
Since OP lives in Florida he will have to pay Florida's taxes and fees
Now add in the Florida sales tax of 6% ($1,352.40) and other fees of $77 and $248
and you get the real out the door price of $24,442.40
So Carvana's offer of $33,163 is $8,720.60 over what was paid not the $11,000 Op listed
I can see that he probably was using the MSRP figure of $22,540 but that was not what he paid.
Out-the-door costs should always be used to determine profit from Carvana/Vroom/CarMax etc offers and not MSRP as those extra costs matter.
OkayI will tell you all the complete story with all the details when the check clears.
