How bad was the rattle, is it from the whole dashboard or the tweeter side, cause my truck does the same thing, it’s from the tweeter side, dealer tried to fix it multiple times it still rattles, I just want to know if that’s the same case for you or different rattle altogether.
I also have this rattle that is from the area by the dash corner speaker drivers-side. Dealer has tried multiple times to fix, including the new dash, without success. You can pretty much eliminate the rattle by pressing down with your hand on the dash near the speaker grill while driving; seems like it shouldn't be that hard to get a foam pad in there. I thought I had fixed it, for a while, by wedging some paracord in the crack/seam between the dash display and the rest of the dashboard. It dampened the rattle but did not eliminate it.

That’s what I do when it rattles, if I push on the tweeter pods ot will stop, dealer tried to change the grille and everything idk what’s my next option it’s annoying as heck.

Didn't buy the truck to win any beauty contests but I don't mind the newer front end at all. Form follows function in my book, it works fine, couldn't care less what others think about it.

Despite what they may have claimed I doubt the dealers did much (if anything at all) to solve the problem. They are in business to make money and I was told by one dealer outright it's just not worth their time tracking down squeaks and rattles. My advice to those with annoying sounds is to track them down yourself or forget about it. If you've gone to the ends of the earth, still can't find it and it's driving you crazy then you might have to consider selling the truck.

To stop the upper dash rattles on my 2025 I popped those speaker grills in the front corners of the dash off. In order to do so you have to pop off the A-pillar covers too but they all came off fairly easily. There was a feeble attempt at sound deadening pads from the factory but I put a better layer of thin stick-on felt strips all around the lip that the grills rest on, then snapped the grills and A-pillar covers back into place. Rattles gone. Depending on temperature there are occasional other rattles here and there but nothing as persistent and annoying as the @#%& speaker grill rattles were.

By now Ford has to know what the problem is but just don't see it as worth their time to fix it. This type of thing and two other issues I'm having (that I won't bring up here) make me question if I'll buy another Ford product. It might be a year or two but if something else interesting comes along I'll likely trade it in.

Yep, if you are doing speaker work, I HIGHLY recommend putting sound mat on any body or interior panels you can, and separating any plastic trim pieces that snap together with fleece tape.

That’s what I’m planning to do. Hopefully that will take care of most of my problems.

The OP here definitely improved the look. I'm wondering if the person who approved the 2025 design has a mustache..... 😅

My 2025 has a clicking sound coming from what sounds like the passenger side of the dash,do you think it could be the speaker grilles?

I had a chili pepper red 24 Maverick, which I loved. But the infamous dash rattle had me turn it back over to Ford after 30,000 miles.

I just received my 26 XLT in space white and really didn’t like the new front end.

I had the ski slopes by the headlights wrapped in satin black and I think, while not perfect, it’s better in appearance.

I have a 23 with dash rattle. Chewing on it slowly. Pretty much tackled the rattle. Now hearing a knock sound. I opened, drive w glove box open. Seems Knick curtailed?

I kinda thinking of 26+ model, but for different reason …like the new fuel injection setup. Intake valves get washed.

However, owning this Mav for 2 yrs, have only 8,2xx miles. And the Lowe’s n Home Depot short drive. It would be a while to get up to 20k for any walnut wash job of those valves. Prob hold on to it while longer.

Mine were rattling, clicking and even squeaking at times so sure, why not. Try popping it up partway (you can't get the grill all the way off without removing the A-pillar cover since there's a tab that hooks to it) to see if it changes. If it does then there's your answer.

I like what you've done there. It evens the proportions of the front end. 😎👍🏼
