I had a chili pepper red 24 Maverick, which I loved. But the infamous dash rattle had me turn it back over to Ford after 30,000 miles.

I just received my 26 XLT in space white and really didn’t like the new front end.

I had the ski slopes by the headlights wrapped in satin black and I think, while not perfect, it’s better in appearance.

I think it’s a simple, elegant solution to a new design choice I don’t particularly like either.
the lemon law option is intriguing. Can you explain it a bit more? What are the time limits on it? Mileage limits? Did they make you whole?

Ford attempted multiple times to repair the dash. They ordered a new complete dashboard for me. It was and is on national back order with no ETA. After waiting for your months I opted to lemon law it and start again. Hence the ‘26 with a front end I didn’t like.

People on here were fixing it with a piece of foam and Ford COULDN'T fix it for you????

CA has one of the most strict lemon laws in the country. You can look it up but if you have an ongoing issue and the dealer makes three attempts at repairs with no success or 30 days in the shop then you can begin the process of having your vehicle required. There is a formula based upon total purchase price, miles at first reported instance of the issue and I think one other factor. I would say Ford did their part and treated me well

The foam kit did not work. Each time they tried, it failed. On each attempt they took the dash apart, which meant console out, seat out, etc. They had to put it all back together each time to test drive. Only to find it still rattled.

Yeah...I thought the foam was pretty successful from what I was seeing. I thought I had the rattle...but it only did it one or two times when it's been really cold. Haven't heard it again as we are back in the 70's now with 80 degrees set for Christmas day!!! I actually like the wrap on the front...as my kids had been wrapping cars over the past few years. I've come to like the colors, applications and options it gives you.

When I saw the first images of the '25 front end, I really thought an applique like this to de-emphasize the "tabs" would be popular. But in person the fascia looks much better than I thought it would, and I've totally gotten used to it; the center grille portion actually looks a little cleaner than earlier model years IMO. If I owned one I think it suit me fine unaltered.

You must really hate the front end to do that. I have come to really like my "Bull horns" wrap around lights.

To me the wrap makes it look like it's missing an option.

The 2026 dash is gonna rattle too!!

The wrap looks pretty good with space white. I don’t think it would look good with Eruption Green

I feel like im taking crazy pills reading these responses. That looks totally horrible.

I would say the black ski slopes look way LESS horrible than the factory white.
I’ve owned my 25 XLT for almost a year and I still can’t even look at the front of my truck.

I think this mod would look good on any of the lighter colors. The darker colors could be done too, but it might not be as necessary. This is a must-do mod IMHO.

How bad was the rattle, is it from the whole dashboard or the tweeter side, cause my truck does the same thing, it’s from the tweeter side, dealer tried to fix it multiple times it still rattles, I just want to know if that’s the same case for you or different rattle altogether.
