Ford increased the pricing for all units that had not been invoiced. I ordered mine in October, and looked at the order on 1/4 and the price went up by $887 and I didn't change a thing. Ford did release a statement that the prices were going up but it still sucks. You have to wait 8 months to year to get your pickup, oh by they way we're increasing the price also. Way to treat the consumer.
Hey,

Please see my reply above/prior. Apparently it 'shows' as the new price. But it does not affect your order. There have been some videos on the price protection.

In essence, you're "re-submitting" your order and it will be past the date for the old pricing.

I changed my order on my Bronco numerous times and my order date changed with each change that I made.
When I changed my order, I did it before the price increase, the order date remained the same on the DORA but it showed the updated date of when the change was made.

When you say DORA, do you mean order preview?

For the bronco, my reservation date didn't change but my order dates did. By the end of MY21 I had 4 different order dates.

I didn't change my build but I did change my delivery location as I am coming back from overseas early. That saved me $500 actually. But now I have to pay sales tax...

It says DORA processed 11/18 and below that order receipt date 10/18 which was when I originally ordered the truck.

Interesting. I've never had a DORA (not many customers actually DO see a DORA even though they say so). I have a great relationship with my dealer so I have no issues going on the order preview which matches the DORA. I have received my Ford order confirmation, Ford customer service has my order, and the dealer has promised via e-mail there will be no ADMs on my Bronco or Maverick.

So the DORA may hold the original order date. Each time I changed it for my Bronco it would update my reservation link with the new order date.

Thank you for that. I have a copy of my build sheet as of 12/2/21 that has a MSRP of $36,185, loaded Lariat. As of today the MSRP shows $37,095. So it sounds like from the video that when I finally do get my Maverick I should be able to have the dealer submit paperwork to get reimbursed from Ford. Unfortunately I'm a pretty pessimistic person, so I'll believe it when I see it. Thank you though.

I believe what I have is an actual DORA. This is what the dealer sent me after I made my changes. It still retained the original order date but had the date of the changes.

Please reread that infamous codicil in the DORA you signed! -- "PRICES ARE SUBJECT TO CHANGE WITHOUT NOTICE" ! -- No one is your friend when it comes to a vehicle purchase! If they can sell something to another for much more than to you, they can, and may, and will, legally!

We actually called our rep and made a point that they were to make no changes to the order. We have the order confirmation and DORA. Didn’t want them making any changes overtly or inadvertently - at one point we had discussed possibly adding back spray in bedliner (ordered drop-in) but as learned more we made it clear - leave it alone.

Wait . … so I ordered mine three weeks ago. I’m gathering the first bit the dealer told me, -6-8-10 weeks is bogus now, but, are they going to jack up my original price?

(I guess this is provided the dealer doesn’t try to screw me when it finally does show up. I figured they’d honor the price since that’s what they kept showing me, but, some of the posts on here do not inspire confidence…)

You need a signed DORA (price list of options and price they will sell it to you at when it comes in) and order confirmation from Ford (Ford Tracker) that shows your order confirmed. Most of the issues here are because a)The dealer never sent in the order / they never had a confirmation so dealer CYA claiming Ford “cancelled” b)They only had verbal on pricing as “MSRP” and never had a signed DORA from dealer

well, I feel silly. Try to get that Dora. I got the pizza tracker from ford, but, that’s it, no order number from the dealer or anything.

Called my dealer yesterday to make a change....
First I called the Ford Customer Service and they could not see any priority assigned to my Hybrid, XLT, LUX & CP360 ordered on 7/7/22021, 6 weeks ago it was a priority 02, but for the last 2 weeks they could not 'see' any priority assigned to it. They told me I could make changes until a VIN was designated. I asked my dealer to drop the LUX package and add just a trailer hitch with the 110/400w plug in the cab. I will get a 3rd party to put in the spray-in bed liner, but I will miss the 110/400w plug in the bed. I'm sure someone on this forum will figure that out and make a video.

I feel as if Ford was penalizing me for being one of the early orders. I see later hybrids being delivered without the LUX package.
