There are 3 different CV axles (well, now 4) for the Mavericks:

Non-Tremor EcoBoost CV axles, Tremor CV axles, and Hybrid CV axles. The Tremor CV axles are "upgraded" in the sense that they are a different internal design and are a little thicker than the Non-Tremor EcoBoost CV axles. Tremor and non-Tremor EcoBoost axles are interchangeable.

The Hybrid CV axles are not interchangeable with the Ecoboosts because of the HF45/HF55 transmission different from the Ecoboost 8F35 transmission.

Hybrid CV axles were failing a significant rate. Late in 2024 Ford introduced a new "upgraded" CV axles for hybrids only.

There is not a lot known about the CV axle itself beyond it IS longer than the previous hybrid CV axles. It is unlikely that is shares any upgraded internals from the Tremor. The new part is for ALL hybrids FWD/AWD 22-present.

I have a 23 hybrid but I'm only at 17,000 miles. I'm afraid 3 years will pass on the warranty will expire before I get the shutter.

I think Hybrids have a longer warranty period for the drive train.

At the rate we're going (I have 15K on my '23) we'll hit 5 years way before 60K miles...lol

2025s have the new CV axles. 2022-2024 will receive the new part# and axle when replaced.

All Mavericks have 3 yr/36K bumper to bumper, 5 yr/60k powertrain. The Hybrid has 8 yr/100K on certain hybrid battery components.

It's equipment that is unique to the hybrid - so that includes all motor generators and the transmission as well.

No that would not be considered hybrid componentry just a CV axle covered under 5/60 drivetrain.
