I orders a basic XLT 1 day before you - July 30, 2021 received at Penn Holstat Ford on Jan 14, 2022 - have put 6,000 on it and youāre still waiting. It is frustrating for you but I think you will be glad you waited.
Glad you got yours so quickly. I wondered if mine took so long because I ordered from what I thought was a high volume dealer. Is your dealer pretty large? Iām really excited to get mine. Reached out today to ford chat and got an updated 10/21-10/27 delivery date.
We had to wait three months for our RAV4. I thought that was a long time.
A couple of people have guessed my XL was $40k just this past week. Nope, $22k MSRP. People think itās worth more. I do, too
have you been shipped yet?? I just noticed you were built same day as mine and mine has been awaiting shipping ever since. Until last saturday anyway it did actually ship. Tim the ford video guy said it was cause of airbag recall.

Not sure how toyota does it but I don't think it's a direct factory order. I agree that 90 days would be the ideal but with the current supply chain issues it's hard to see how they can do factory orders in that time frame.
At some point you will get it. That's why they charge $1495 for shipping. When people stop you to ask about your truck, tell them all the places your truck went on vacation before finally arriving for it's first day of work!
It was pre-Covid. First model year of a complete redesign, though.
I believe many of current Toyota USA models are actually built in USA, and don't have to deal with issues getting parts to, and shipping from Mexico. Another thing is Toyota had stocked up on (or had early contracts for) many of the parts for the USA models that were established already. Saw multiple stories about Toyota not being affected as much as others from supply chain delays because of that. It took about 3 months for Toyota to deliver a new 4Runner my neighbor purchased last year.
That is a heck of a back yard !Picked up mine Thursday. Ordered 6/10/21. It was worth the wait. It is very quiet. 1/3 of electric driving 38mpg. 103 miles
My dealer was a small dealer, Chapman Holstram, Pennsylvania. At least small in physical size...but have two Ford dealer locations. Claimed to have sold over 2,000 Mavericks 2022, had delivered 60 or 70 when I picked up mine. As I plan to order another Maverick next year...I'll most likely order from them again. No issues and no complaints. I don't think size matters much...my local Ford dealer is HUGE...must be couple of hundred employees and have only claim to have only sold a few dozens. Margin has to be pretty small comparted to F150, Lightings and Mustangs...so some dealers don't push Mavericks since they are so hard to get.
