I drove over a double curb in the snow, (slow like 1-3mph rock crawl style) and ripped the Fuckin EVAP can off!

I'm going to drill through the floor and run some Low grade sheer bolts through whenever my canister shows up

AHHHHH I feel so dumb, I'm pretty young affording this entry level pickup hasn't been the worst thing ever. Looks like the canister is interchangeable with escape bronco sport so there's plenty available for cheap enough. If you check my post history I'm the guy who had his fucking wheel fall off so I really beat the piss out of this truck

I'll make a video cautioning owners when I fix it, happy trails it's not my old ranger!

I have over 1500 miles "off-road" with my Maverick. I've got pinstriping in my paint. My wheels are scratched. The AWD system has seen...some stuff. And yes, my evap plate has been dragged in dirt, rocks, and on snow.

But I have never managed to separate it from the body.

Looking closer it will require a rivnut gun, the floor pan is too deep and I might even be missing a bolt ‍

Oh well it's just a truck. Might be time to trade in for a ranger danger though I really like those 25's

Just add 4 1/2” lift, 255/75/17 mud terrains and jcr skid plates like mine , you would have been fine .
Hope the fix goes well , but you should really do the skid plates from jcr though if this is going to happen often!
