This happen to anyone else? Ordered September 2021 (521 days and counting wooo.....).

Have had multiple scheduling dates. Then when I finally had one date that didn't move (December 19th), radio silence. Dealer called in mid January and said I'm still on the order bank and Ford "forgot" a bunch of orders (I guess everyone makes mistake, ya know?). I had heard of this happening to others but when I logged in to order track (just for poops, giggles, and because I like to torture myself unnecessarily), the order is no longer scheduled, just confirmed. 😢

Anyone else?

I am happy to see a lot more posts in the forum about received orders, congratulations to y'all!

Did you reorder a 2023? That December 19 scheduled date was where they put all of us cancelled orders. Your dealer had to rollover your order into a my23. I’m afraid that if you didn’t roll over your order you won’t get a truck. I’m sure others here can give you advice moving forward…..Good Luck

Hopefully, the dealer reordered the truck for OP.

Not a surprise - in fact nothing comes as a surprise with Ford. Another acronym just hit - F O R D - Forgotten Order Regular Disaster these days. Sorry for your dilemma,

If the OP dealer didn't follow instruction how's that a Ford issue?

Sounds like OP had a cancelled 2022 VIN. The tracking on that VIN will still pull something up, but not the actual information on the truck if it's moving forward with a 2023 VIN.

I never got emails about my 2023 VIN from Ford, and just ended up hearing from the dealer directly when my truck came in. I think there's an extra step the dealer has to take for the customer to still get the emails, but it doesn't stop the truck from being built if the dealer upated the priority code like they were supposed to back in like November.

Now if the dealer didn't follow instructions on updating the priority on the order Ford rolled for them, who knows what happens.

I informed the dealer to reorder and he stated that he did. He did not specify it would be a MY23, although I assumed that it was.

I'd like to think it's not but with anything retail these days I feel like there's no responsibility or obligation for decent customer service. Aka it's my fault.

He DID mention that it was updated to Priority code 2. So maybe your explanation does make sense and it's just a dud VIN or dud link for my previous year vehicle. Thank you!!!

You can check with Ford chat for more information too. That's how I got my new 23 VIN. They'll need your vin and order code.

That’s what I did, too. My dealer was pretty useless through out the whole process and I ended up talking to Ford CS a lot.

If you search for Ford Video Guy ...around October and November of LAST YEAR, everything may come clear to you. You, like me, are a "cancelled order" who has been at the head of the line with Priority 2, since 11/30/22. Your new 2023 order date, courtesy of Ford, is 11/14/22. Most, if not all of us cancelled VIN/rollover orders have been scheduled or even built already. Mine is off of its railcar and waiting for a truck to bring it.

Your dealer was supposed to verify the new order with you in November. When mine did, I received a new order form showing the changes, so I could make sure everything was as it was supposed to be. Some of the packages changed, and there have been many folks discovering that items were removed from their orders...too late to fix (like Adaptive Cruise Control, Rear Parking Sensors if you had a Lariat Lux).
