Yes you'll need to replace both of them. We checked to see if we could only do one and nope, have to replace both.

So it is possible to have this problem fixed under warranty, you'll just have to wait a very long time.

Good for you. I gave up on that cause a year ago. It's a good 2 inch drop from the end of the gate. The service adviser couldn't give two spits about it. It'll soon be their problem though when I trade it in later this month. Along with the outstanding recall.
