We were in the Clearwater/Dunedin area up until about a year ago. Great place to live, just had so much to gain by selling our place we couldn't pass it up.
How do you like where you are now... in TN? I am considering moving, downsize and simplify my retirement spending etc. Why did you select TN etc. Private message me if you don't mind chatting there?

I am sorry for this late delay!! I was busy prepping to survive Ian, the great - the Hurricane... and then restoring all the items I had to move off my back pool deck so that the items did not become airborne missile objects!! Have you booked yet? The best flights I found were Southwest (but I had some credits to burn and flight points) connecting from TPA to St Louis STL then to Des Moines DSM - my trip from there was to drive to Sugar Grove IL and spend time with my oldest son, wife and 2 g children... it was a really nice trip - then I drove to St Louis and delivered the truck to my middles son. He has had non-stop compliments ever since...
Yeah I went ahead and just did st pete direct to DSM. It was under half the cost of a connecting flight so didn’t make sense to fly out of TPA

We had lived in TN previously for many years and have a 5 year old son so we moved here for the lower cost of living and to be back closer to family. Would rather be in Florida, but our property taxes and homeowners went up every year we lived in Pinellas County and when home values jumped during the peak Covid New Yorker influx, we took the opportunity to cash out and put down a good chunk on a little bigger home in TN. Went from 1200 sq ft to about 2300 and pay almost $1000 less a month.
Don’t know that we’ll stay in this particular small town outside Knoxville, but the cost of living is low. We have brother/sister in-laws in Chattanooga and it’s a great town for youngish folks, so we’ve considered that. I’m in my late 30s and honestly I wouldn’t mind moving every couple years, but gotta set down some roots for the kiddo. Lot of folks from Florida love the cost of living, mountains, and lack of insane traffic lol. I’m more of a flatlander myself, originally being from Ohio, and don’t mind getting some good snows. Maybe I’ll find a good looking farm on my way back from Des Moines:)
You’re welcome to shoot me a message or reply to this if you have anything specific, happy to offer my opinion or help in any way I can (y)

When I call Union Pacific to "Trace" my railcar TTGX996020, the automated teller says "there is no equipment to trace for number TTXG99602" it leaves out the last "0" and says nothing to trace. Does anyone know if this means it is still in Mexico perhaps? or...? thanks!

Anyone else tracking railcar TTGX942384 to Granger? Anyone know what CD Industrial Block 222 means? I understand the KC Missouri part.

Private message me - I would like to investigate this city where you live as an option. I was foolish enough to believe that Fl was inexpensive, due to no state Income taxes. I have my homework to do!!

I just got the "We are sorry-we know this is frustrating" email for my Granger order. That might actually be a good sign because every time I get one of those emails there is some kind of progress with my order that the email implied there would not be.

is this for UNION PACIFIC as well? When I click your link it shows CSX info....I did try it using the numbers the link provided, then my numbers...and said it "did not understand".
Mine worked for Union Pacific, but what works one day gives you nothing the next in this Maverick process 😂

I got two of those...one for my active order, which is an XL, and one for the JUNE '21 XLT Hybrid order I canceled forever ago. Way to be on the ball, guys

Trying to make a funny about it, but I'm pretty upset actually. To wait as long as we all have, only to have this thing sit 250 miles away from the dealership and now sitting for 2 weeks.
