My dealer Grapevine Ford called me today and told me that Ford was out of hybrid engines and would not be building any more hybrids. I called Ford Marketing and they seemed confused by this but after getting put on hold I was told that was true. I am wondering if this is true or if it is just confusion over the not taking any orders for hybrids. The dealer said he could switch it over to the ecoboost but wanted 2500 more in dealer markup.
Does anyone have any insight into this? I

Just let them know you are in no hurry and can wait.

I don't get that part where you are told by both your dealership and Ford Marketing then you come on to a forum still asking if it is true?

I don't doubt they will start rescheduling orders they do not think they can fulfill before the 2023 model year. They just pushed a whole bunch of hybrid Mav's production date about a month. But we have to understand that Ford doesn't have the understanding that they need to do a better job and keep their customers informed in the current era of Amazon, Tesla, etc. Where all the information we need is readily available.

I just purchased a Telsa Y a month ago and I got an estimated date of July 2022 right as I ordered. Then low and behold it updates to between May 19th and June 16th. I did all my ordering and financing on my phone and has been an outstanding experience. Ford is really lacking

Now try pre-ordering a Cybertruck that was already suppose to be in production by now. Hopefully you didn't pay $10,000 for FSD. That was just a year away in 2016. I wouldn't hold my breath that the car will be delivered between May 19th and June 16th.

I agree, I have a Y got it in Feb and had a 3 before that. I was asking here because Ford Marketing seemed really confused put me on hold then came back and said yes but he seemed very unsure of why and it the hybrids were be put off til next year or done. Could not answer so I thought that perhaps a dealer might have some insight.
