I’ve had my 26 Lariat Hybrid 3 months and already have 2 dings on my hood. I knew exactly when it happened bc I was driving on the interstate. Don’t know what it is about the hood geometry (first truck) but man I did not expect to have road damage already!

I did not want any type of adhesive installation and found the Husky Liner used the existing holes underneath the gasket at the front of the hood. Instructions via QR code were detailed and easy to follow. Took me about 30 minutes since I was being extra careful.

I have the same one and it's great. Very Easy Installation! It's actually darker but in the bright sun it looks lighter.

How “snug” should the fasteners get? They never got snug and I’ve turned some screws in my life.

. I just got off the phone with support and they said it’s a common issue and you have to constantly put force on the fastener so it will mushroom.

I’ve pulled down on the lip and it’s secure. No loose play. Just wanted to know what your experience was with the fasteners. Thanks

I don't recall having any issues. This was the first time I've installed one and I don't really remember but mine is on tight.

I’ve spun the screws so long my wrist hurt. Never got tight. Called support again and they said “as long as the fastener doesn’t fall out you’re good.” I had them send me a set of replacement fasteners just in case.

Unfortunately on my 25 XLT there are no holes for mounting.

I have a 2025 XLT AWD HYBRID. You have to pop out the fasteners holding in the hoods rubber seal, slide the liner under the seal, then put the fasteners back in to hold it in place. It is in the Husky install video.



The only thing I did different was I didn't remove the entire rubber seal, just the fasteners where the holes I needed were. Worked like a charm.
