Note:

• There is no drilling required.
• Only the 2 center brackets screw into the hood, I am worried about removing the gasket clips, I might add double-side tape to keep it in place.
• The last four end brackets slip over the hood, no matching drilling needed.
• I did not mark the hood with a marker, I placed the clear tape inside the bracket and slipped it on.
• I did not install the hood bumpers, its looks strong enough to hold its shape, and it would make it difficult to clean under the deflector.
• If I do install the hood stops in the future, I will stick it to the underside of the deflector instead of the hood so I can remove it and wipe under it.
• It doesn't stick up as some photos suggest in other posts, it is pretty low to the hood.
• Recommend preinstalling the clips into the brackets, and preinstalling the brackets to the deflector, this will make things go smoother / faster.
• Total install time less than 5 minutes if you preinstall everything together.
• The edges align with the hood seam / gap and do not extend past.
• I chose this removable deflector because it reminds me of the old school deflectors, the Ford ones do look cleaner.

Thanks for the install tips. Our truck is being built and we have the same deflector on the way. Actually 2 of them! Oops. Ordered it from 2 different places. the Amazon one has free returns. Lol

I am wanting to order this guard but I don't like the idea of sticking the bumpers to the hood (easier to clean without, and also concerned about damage to the clear coat if I decided to remove the bumper in the future).

1. After all this time, how is the non-bumper install going? Any vibrations or second thoughts about not installing the bumpers?
2. Do all the brackets that connect to the hood have clear tape applied first? Or is it just the two middle ones and the others are metal bracket directly on hood metal?
