How To Update Oil Change Info?

Well, I took the truck in to the local tire shop to have the new Yokohama tires slapped on, and decided to go ahead and get an oil change while it was there. I wanted to get rid of the factory synthetic blend oil and any production metal shavings floating around, and replaced it with Mobil1 full synthetic 0-30 for our cold winters and a Purolator Boss filter.

I saw there's a way to update the oil change data in the vehicle so Ford is aware of it, but I can't find it now. How do I go about doing this?

You can add it to your Ford Pass app by going to "service" on the bottom, click on "service history", and "add record" for anything you do to your mav to keep track if you want to.

Bring up the Oil Life Monitor in the instrument cluster info display. There is a Reset option there.

Update it in your online records at: https://www.ford.com/support/service-history

That's how I store and keep track since I do all my own maintenance.

That would be perfect for logging my own oil changes etc., except... option unavailable

Do you have any idea if, when updating oil change in the Ford Pass App, will the info be captured by CarFax and AutoCheck?

I have a spiral bound notebook and everything i do to my cars and trucks is written in it .
