How long from build date to delivery?

I ordered my XLT Maverick with Lux/Copilot 360/Tri-fold tonneau/mats/rear window on September 29th 2021. I just received email from Ford that my Build date is September 19th 2022. I tried searching for related articles but could not find any. Can someone tell me approximately how long from the build date to delivery to the dealer?

There is no fixed amount of time, depends on availability of parts for your build. It could be a week, it could be a month just to get built. Then it could be another 1-4+ weeks for delivery.

There has been little consistency. Some have been delayed at the factory before shipping. Some have been stuck in railyards. Distance from the factory makes a difference, too.

The trucks are built down in Mexico. Most likely come to the United States by train. My truck was built in mid June and I was just notified that it is finally going to arrive here in California in the next few days so for me my experience is roughly 3 months from build time to the delivery time.

I live in Las Vegas, and I ordered a XLT with 360 on 9/30/21.

I received my window sticker in June and my build date kept changing until I finally got one at the end of August. The web site then said it was built on 8/31.
On 9/5 it said shipped.
I checked with my dealer 2 days ago, and they said it should be there about 9/17.
I received a call this afternoon (9/9) that it was ready to be picked up.

Depends. Anywhere from 3 weeks to months. Mine was built 8/25 and has been sitting in Mexico at the shipping yard since 8/27. Hasn’t shipped yet.
