I don't think they made Hybrid Maverick trucks in 2004.

If you have a 2024 Hybrid, the manual tells you how to store it if not driving it for long periods.

If you really want to guarantee it will start, buy a NOCO 12v battery tender and connect it at the jump points under the hood. Your 12v battery will reward you with a longer lifetime. You can safely leave it connected while not using the truck. I connect mine whenever I won't be driving it for several days.
Come on, give the guy a typo break. :handshake:
Nevertheless, your advice is sound and will be helpful to all those who read your post. Good tip.

You can always remote start it with app. I did that when I was in Greece last year. My next door neighbor was perplexed at why my started by itself at 0330 local
Amazing, right? Keep in mind the app won’t work if the truck goes into deep sleep mode. I’d hook up a ”smart” trickle charger just to be sure.

Ok so I returned after 17 days and it started up with no issues. Drove 5 miles and after parking, the Ford Pass app stated "Drive to reconnect Ford Pass." So you must drive for a longer distance to charge the battery fully. Nice to know. Attaching a tender is probably the best bet.
Agree 100%

The truck uses the Lithium Battery to start, but needs a 12v to operate everything else. Put a volt meter on the your battery and if it's less than 12.5 it's low. (mine today was 11.97v and my battery was dealer changed 6 months ago) I think there's a problem with the charging system TBH.
PS watch this video: A mechanic found a bad battery cable connection from the battery to the fuse box.
You’re absolutely correct about the bad battery connectio. That was one of the first fixes for the 2022 hybrids.
My experience is that the truck relies on the 12v to start up rather than the high voltage lithium. I say this because mine would not start due to the bad cable connection from the 12v. Jumped it, then drove over to the dealer to address the cable problem. No issues other than deep sleep since

That is incorrect.
A little more detail might be helpful. The "Lithium Battery" turns the engine over at high rpm to get it going when it needs to run, but the 12v battery "starts" the system as a whole.

That is correct of course.
Sorry, I just didn't feel like expounding when this very same thread amongst so many more gave the correct info already.
I just didn't want others confused by the wrong info.

Just took a 10 day trip, the truck was in deep sleep (no dome lights , etc) when we got home, which had me worried, but it started fine. 2023.
