How long after ordering to get a confirmation email?

If my dealer didn't submit my order; would you get some sort of cash or benefit if I switched to them? Bit of a drive for me but would rather deal with a dealership that does it right and communicates vs the one I have now that won't talk much since I didn't buy an F350 off the lot... when I have a one-ton chevy at the house already, paid off with only 50k on the odo. I need a tiny truck for daily driving.

For those of us who have never received confirmation emails just wondering if you’re receiving promotional emails? I get nothing from them and I am opted in. I’ve called Ford 3 separate times and each time they said my email disappeared and re entered it. Will ask for a manager next time cause I’m stuck in some glitch or something

Didn't get one right away either so after a couple of weeks, I called my Ford dealer and brought the issue up. Received my Ford email confirming my order the next day.

Ordered back in July 29, 2021 from my desk at home on Ford Build-Price site and got confirmation email within the hour, local Ford Dealer called me 3 or 4 days later….chose not to use them, went with another dealer.

2 months ago got a Pending and Build Date of Nov 8, moved to 16, then Pending date disappeared (or was cancelled) Waiting for reschedule Pending Build Date for 2 1/2 months. Certainly looks like all car makers are struggling for parts/chips….be patient…I’m one of those that will not switch to a Eco-Boost, Hybrid or I’ll look for another brand.

Crickets since then.

I've already been down to the dealer twice. He showed me the order but from the video I watched, that doesn't meant the order had been accepted by Ford. I'm not going to drive myself crazy or keep going down to my dealer. I'll wait a couple more weeks and then ask him if the order has been approved by Ford. I'm not in a hurry to get it in the next few months as it will be snowing here in upstate NY soon anyways and I'd rather not drive a brand new vehicle in the snow if I could help it. Right now I just want a conformation that the order has been approved by Ford. I don't intend to wait months between now and whenever without hearing at least something.

Then again, you should listen to the horror stories from the people ordering the Santa Cruz. I was just on thier forums a while ago. Bad bad bad. I see why Hyundai isn't selling as many as the Maverick.

I completed signing 11/13. Dealership salesman said the order would be submitted 11/15 or 11/17 at the latest. Haven’t heard from him since (will contact dealership cause that’s frustrating.) I didn’t receive an email or anything.
I did a chat today with Ford and gave my order code from the DORA and they confirmed it’s in their system and in process. Was told to contact dealership to ensure they have my email and information correctly.

I wasn't given my DORA, so I do need to get that from my salesman so I can reach out to Ford to track it...

No idea, but most dealerships do something like that.
If you want to see what they can do for you, my contact throughout the process has been Eric Helfman (the actual owner of the dealership. thats who initially called me from my online reservation and the one who has kept me updated through the entire process.)

So I just got off the phone with Ford and was told my order is in their system and is in the ROVP! I asked about the confirmation email, and as others posted, was told that their system has been whacky and doesn't always send out a confirmation email. She said that once they have all the parts and the vehicle is ready for production, I will definitely receive an email with my VIN number.

A little less stressed now that I know my order is there. Now to wait until it's ready...
