Canadian hybrids were built in the fall already and are continuing to built mixed in with U.S. hybrids. Mine is scheduled to be built on Jan 17th. Your dealer has incorrect information.

Probably miscommunication and poor choice of words. If you don’t have a build date already you won’t get one until February at the earliest. Doesn’t mean Ford hasn’t been building them yet.

From the GM of the dealership that I ordered from, echoed by his sales manager……word of mouth is all i have since there is no customer communication from Ford to me in Canada

Yeah... they are awful keeping us in the loop. It would be nice to even get a monthly "You are not scheduled yet, but will be soon". Interestingly enough my sales dude said I had an ETA of Feb '22 when I ordered it. He had to be guessing wildly at that point, because production scheduling or order volumes hadn't even been assessed.

I'm going to wait for the next round of production scheduling and then ask for an update. It is a bit frustrating.
