They do expire, but you can keep it active by having service done. I get my oil changed at the dealership so it keeps the account active and also adds points. I still have points from the Escape purchase in 2020. As the Escape accessories are lacking, I plan to use those and the ones I get from the Maverick to get a hood deflector, tailgate assist, and window shades. After that, I'll see what is left and figure out what to blow it on.They in theory do expire, but when I mentioned that to some folks on here a while back, a bunch of people claimed they had points that seemed to sit there for years and years with no activity. May be one of those "On paper we can take these back from you if we want to after some arbitrary period of time, but we don't usually exercise that option....but we could".check for how long the points are good for, I thought I read they expire after a year?
Makes sense. I'll have to keep an eye on it and ensure I do "something" to keep them active. They do expire, but you can keep it active by having service done. i got the bed mat, hood deflector and tailgate assist.Good morning folks,
Welcome to Monday morning. Hope your coffee is hot and your workload is manageable.
The time is approaching for my Maverick to get built (assuming nothing changes, but things always seem to). I find myself wondering what I might do with the $210 worth of Ford points ill have after the purchase.
Granted, they aren't exactly burning a hole in my pocket. I know I could just sit on them and eventually use them towards parts or service on one of our various vehicles.
I was doing some browsing on the website looking at things to potentially put them towards and don't really see much I don't already have.
I was just wondering what some of you folks plan to spend yours on.
I'm leaning towards some mud flaps, but thats about it. (Already have a tonneau cover, tailgate letters, and all weather mats waiting in the garage)
NopeTo me ford points are useless. I do not trust any dealer to work on anything! Over last 10 years, multiple manufacturers dealerships have caused body damage, Jeep software update bricked the rig and took months for a buyback, ford put 11 quarts of oil at the quick lane and list goes on.
Yep, tried to buy stuff….mudflaps for a F-150 and the price went from $99 cash to $200 in ford points. Did not see any value in that. Can we sell these points?

Your 42k points are worth $210. 200 points = $1.00How many points = $1.00. Just curious was 40k points will buy?
