Most things which were options to delete have become requirements to delete for the remainder of 22 MY scheduling (for all Fords, not just Mavericks). I assume most of the options that are deletable now, will not be offered in 23, because the chips shortages will still be a constraint. Unless they know that they will have sufficient chips by the time 23 MY production starts?
@KevCuRaoi I believe you work at a dealership. Is it true that Fleet Mavericks don't come with the hotspot and a few other features?

I did just check the (2022) Maverick order guide. At some point they made the decision that all Mavericks for the rest of 22MY would have to have the hotspot delete.

I don't see anything "missing" from fleet orders.
There are some "fleet only options". For the XL & XLT, those are non-configurable daytime running lights, 8-way power driver seat and rear parking sensors. Same for the Lariat (but the Lariat comes with the power driver seat standard anyway).

I'd imagine deleting the hotspot means also losing app connectivity which controls things like remote engine on/lock-unlock.
I believe the app connectivity is done using blue tooth and not the LTE Wi-Fi.

Thanks Kevin. Go Bills! (My sister in-law lives in West Seneca)

That can't be relying on bluetooth if you can remote start/see tire pressure from more than x feet from the vehicle (which you can pretty much anywhere both your phone and car can reach LTE signal)

That would be true. Maybe the removal is only for the data share portion of wifi which would still leave Ford connected to truck. Presumably because no one was signing up fore user data plan. I will ask my dealer rep but I believe the maverick specialist is on vacation this week getting tested up for the order book opening?🤔🤗

I ordered a Lariat with Lux Package. I can't remove the hotspot, correct? Truthfully, if I could it can go. LOL!!

Those features will still be available without the hotspot.

If it hasn't been built by 8/22/22, it will be deleted automatically.

Deleting it takes some small amount off the price, like $20 or $40, I forget which. If it is offered on the 2023 I’ll take the delete option because I don’t need a hotspot. Everyone in my family has a phone with an unlimited plan.

And if it constrains anything then hotspot be gone!
I just got my MY22 window sticker and I have a -$20 wifi hotspot removal.

Since I got scheduled for a 2022 with October build date it will be off on mine. Here in California $20 means I save enough for about 3.5 gallons of gas. :ROFLMAO:
