Homemade high voltage connections.

Someone here was making connections on their Maverick and asked me to post pics of connections I made. Some of these are over 110kV. I always solder the lugs, if you don't they oxidize, overheat and fail. I have more but they are in the tunnel and I can't get to them.

110KV is some pretty hefty stuff. My max was usually around 24KV as that is is the voltage most nuclear plants generate to the grid. It is my understanding Hydro-Quebec's Trans Energie transmits up to 765KV. Mind boggling right there.

That is mind boggling! Serious stuff, everything has to be perfect.
