I was so cool / calm waiting the last 6 months for my order to come in...
- Waiting for a build date with commodities all over the place
- Wondering if my dealer was honest about allocations
- Doing extra work on my current car when I realized the new one wouldn't make it in time to beat inspection.
- Even through the strike
- Even when my build date bounced around
- Even when the tracker stopped working and said "delivered"
- Even when that railcar reporting reloading (guessing I've transfered to truck)
- Even when cust service / my dealer says "It's on a railcar" any time now vs actually having an idea on date.
Now that I'm in range of a week or two, I'm finally getting antsy. I know I haven't waited as long as others but sweet mama Jane just get me my damn truck!
20 years ago my dealer told me, to the day, when my car was arriving about two weeks out from delivery. Now it seems no one gives a fudge, seems a little sad how we're operating now a days.
Anyone else get really damn antsy in the final stretch?
