The good thing about small beds is it's easier to have a hillbilly hot tub in the back.

Assuming my math is decently right, if the Maverick's bed is 55.3" x 54", that is about 20.735 sqft. That means with water being about 64 pounds per gallon, you could put a little more than a foot of water in the bed and still be ok on payload. When it gets warmer I'll post pics. :p

Water weighs about 8.3 pounds per gallon.

If you put a small pool of about 4x4x2 (deep) in the back, it would be about 2,000 pounds of weight from water.

There is no such thing as a square foot of water.
To correctly compute the weight, you need to know the VOLUME
aka cubic feet
aka L x W x H
then convert that to gallons
Then multiply by 8.3

Yes, meant cubic foot. Which if anyone spent 1 second Googling, they would see is 64 pounds for a cubic foot. Some of you need to lighten up......

If Light Beer = Water, then the same 64. ;)

I was going to talk about how we also need to account for the weight/displacement of the human in the hot tub, but then I remembered that human body density is essentially the same weight per cubic foot as water. Haha. Weird to think about.

In other words, "you could put a little more than a foot of human meat slurry" in the bed of the Mav.
