Oh, deer!I recommend everyone make sure you have good comprehensive coverage with your insurance. Basically to cover windows and deer hits.
Many comp coverage are cheap and should be zero deductible.
Buick Regal smacked a deer at about 55. Slowed down some when I saw it full sprint from the left side of the road. Hit the front corner panel, missed the headlight, but also bent the front corner of the door and spin around and its butt hit the rear door, caving it in.Oh, deer!
You never know when one will hit you.

A deer will dart out of the trees onto the road, right into you. Initial impact site on the left front fender, shattered the headlamp, mangled the bumper cover, dented the hood. The fender was bent behind the driver door so I couldn't even open it without doing more damage. $3300 in damage, and that was just a Focus at ~35 mph. Imagine if I was at the limit of 50 mph, not 35 mph for the snow.
Yep, comprehensive coverage comes in handy when least expected.
