Like others have said, it's a gamble...you may never need it, but my logic was since it's a 1st year model vehicle, it might be a smart idea...
I bought the ford factory extended warranty and my rear right side passengers window motor went out; the warranty covered that; still had to pay $200...
Gotcha, thanks. Most of my driving is on the interstate and I feel like I'm a pretty conservative driver. I remember when the breaks on my Mustang were going bad...definitely heard the squealing then.
So, a few stupid questions as I still don't know squat about replacing brakes:
1. how long should they last or what is a good estimate?
2. what, if any, warning signs should be I listening/looking for to see if my brakes might be in trouble?
Thanks. I've noted MPG has been a bit down, not terribly, but it doesn't seem as efficient as it's usually been. Truck it at almost 60k, so it might be worth looking into.
Thanks!
Gotcha, got the transmission fluid replaced last month along with the oil. I changed the engine air filter about 1K miles ago, but not the cabin air filter.
Attempted a search and couldn't really find anything, but what is everyone's thoughts on the 60K mile checkup?
Definitely want to keep the truck in good shape but also don't want to pay for unnecessary services that I don't need.
I was wondering about that or the other thought I had was that perhaps they already had such a huge workload, they just didn't want to take that job on?
I was thinking, 'geez, who would refuse to do a job and take my money?"
Gonna check out one of the others dealers closer to the city that...
Hey OP, if you're still even around...I know this is really old now, but any further issues after they replaced it? I'm coming up on 55K miles on mine...
