Just wanted to share, I ordered my fully loaded Lariat AWD, FX4 luxury on July 31st. Today I received notice that it is scheduled to be built the week of October 11th. Unfortunately, yesterday I bought a new 2021 Lariat Ranger loaded for about $160 above invoice (not MSRP). I am picking it up tomorrow so I cancelled my order. It was only a couple grand more than the one I had on order. I hope the Maverick is everything you all anticipate. For me, this made more sense.

Wish you well and enjoy your new Ranger! For me, a light work truck with a hybrid made the most sense considering the 30,000 plus miles I drive a year!

My Hybrid will probably be awhile but fortunately I have another vehicle to drive until it shows up.

I'm the type who buys the first of a new model so the opposite of someone who buys the last year of an aging platform, but I really like the ranger. It's a capable little truck, and I think you'll enjoy it a lot. Congrats!

It will be a solid truck. However (as with all ICE vehicles, especially trucks) it will get terrible gas mileage. Not a problem for a lot of folks I guess.
Plus, impo, it looks totally retro (not very Ford tough) without the C shaped headlights. I never got that ? Now, even the little Maverick has them, and it really helps. Kind of ironic that the hybrid mini truck looks tougher than the next truck above it ?
Anyway, aside from mileage and looks, it will probably be a great truck, and last a long time.

It’s my second Ranger. I ordered the first STX of the new body style in 1993. I waited the 6 weeks it took to build and deliver it. It was a great truck. I’m hoping this new one will be great as well.
