So I ordered our Maverick today and was told by the dealer that the heated steering wheel is not being offered anymore due supply demands. Anyone else here this? The bed-liner is also a drop in and not a spray in, as pointed out by others.

Wonder when this went into effect. I ordered Wednesday and the DORA specifically states drop in bed liner. But the DORA is not comprehensive. Wondering how they know about the steering wheel is all I guess.

It's the Lux Packages generally. That is just one of the components. I am hoping that heated steering wheel, seats, and mirros are a relatively modest upgrade from parts sometime in the future.

I’m in Arizona, if I move somewhere cold I would definitely want the heated steering wheel

I'm in upstate NY... I changed my order to get the lux package... That heated steering wheel will feel nice after an hour or two of snow blowing at 4am... Sounds like the lux package is becoming less "Lux"...

Just ordered mine today as well and was not told or informed of this…hmm I might need to contact my dealer or Ford it seems. Any one got suggestions to know for sure? Kind of feel like this information should be listed on their website when building.

The heated steering wheel is definitely nice. I have it on my XLT and when I use the remote start, the heated steering wheel and the heated seat kicks on.

I see you are in upstate ny. I assume the heated bits are kicking on because they are tied to a temperature sensor somewhere. I’ll be interested to see what it does when the warm season returns. Will it automatically kick the screen on to cool the interior for you?

Someone else posted in another thread the directions from the manual (can't remember which thread). But basically whatever settings you turn your car off on, that's how it will turn on, but relative to the ambient temperature. So if you have your auto AC set to 70, but the temp drops below 70 at night and you turn your car on, the AC will not come on even if if eventually climbs above 70. That's just my understanding of how the wording in the manual was. Also, if you have the hybrid, for the heat to come on, you must deselect the AC button in order for the gas motor to remote start and activate the heat. Wish I had my truck to test it!

Wow, I wonder how many things they will keep dropping without changing the price? I ordered my Maverick back in September with the Lux. package and the DORA doesn’t state that it has a heated steering wheel. I wonder if they are going to drop all heated steering wheels, or just the ones who ordered after a certain date?

I’ll wait for them to deliver the car I ordered for the price they quoted.
I’ll wiggle a bit on cost but some specifications are non negotiable.
deliver something else, anything else, and they are toast. Period.

The XLT lux package will need to be renamed to " Lax" package because it lacks any luxury items!:ROFLMAO:

So we have one anonymous dealer who says the heating steering wheel is no longer offered. Sorry, I need to see more.

That's why I posted it. I want to know if anyone else has been told the same thing.
