I had black and red leather seats in my black Focus and only on the hottest days with the leather sitting in direct sun did the leather seats every feel too hot. Those were real leather though. Not sure about Active X. My only experience with fake leather seats was my Mom's 1980s Volvo station...

Your getting a 7 pin connector with brake controller and also still have the 4 pin as well. This receiver is likely the same for all of them. As far as hitches, you will buying those after if you don't already have them.
