If all you are looking for is MPH projected on the windshield, you can accomplish that for $10 or less from Temu and ten minutes of running the USB cord to your power source.

I like this. Simple with no messing around with something that might effect your warranty. I've got the co-pilot mirror warnings as well as the digital display on my instrument panel. so no too worried about losing a satellite signal. Thanks. I don't suppose you'd offer up a link?

I ordered mine through f150 leds. It’s obd plug in and a huge menu for customization

I was never able to get mine from F-150LEDS to work on my F-150 hybrid. I still have it i will have to give it a try and see if I can get it to work on my mavrick Hybrid.

Go to Temu and search for HUD. You’ll find multiple offerings for the one I installed and any number of others with additional features.

Thanks. Minimalist which I like but the reviews mentioned that it's too bright at night and doesn't adjust itself. I'll keep an eye out for the Temu, but this one would definitely be my second choice. Appreciate your help.

I too bought the F150 LEDs version HUD and I really like it. The info is clear and crisp on the windshield and its auto brightness function is right on between day/night driving. So simple to install. The projector looks clean on the dash almost like it was designed by Ford. I hope it lasts.

We’ve had ours for almost a year now and it’s been trouble free. Fingers crossed yours lasts as well

Their site says "NOTE: HUD unit will not function while the truck is in hybrid/electric mode. " which to me would be extremely odd, especially if a $10 TEMU unit doesn't have a problem with it. Have you found that to be the case? What does it do?

No, the only function that stops working is the Tack which would be expected. MPH and all other functions that i have tried continue to work fine.

Most likely because the Temu unit doesn't tap into the Mavericks electrical system. It just uses GPS and a USB for power.

After reading all you guys' posts about the HUD from F150LEDS, I contacted them about using one of their units in my hybrid Maverick. They told me it wouldn't work, as the HUD would effectively power down when the ICE shut off and "reset" when the gas engine came back on. Please note I'm not disagreeing with anything said here, just sharing what I was told. They totally convinced me not to get it

I have tried a couple of the HUD. Both had a setting for turning off after engine was turned off. You set at higher time for a hybrid, about 3 mins.

What I don't like about them. They don't display all the info they can at one time, or atleast the ones I have tried. You have to switch between what you want displayed. One only displayed one item like MPH, or battery voltage, or water temp.

I like this one because it will display MPH and Tach at the same time. I like the tach because it is sometimes hard to know when engine turns on and off. The tach is just a bar graph and is not calibrated very well, but it does display.

Great option. I orderd two basic USB HUD units from TEMU for $23 total. All I want is the speed reading to show up since it is hard to quickly read on both my Maverick and GT.....a windshield display will be so much better.
