Have a friend with a Maverick and he has moisture in a taillight. I go out today and I have a very cloudy headlight. Anyone else experience this?

I haven't on Maverick...but it is a common issue overall

Based on that pic, it looks to be warrantable to me. The criteria for "excessive moisture" in the exterior lighting is:
More than 50% condensation coverage, large water droplets, drips/streaks, puddled water (without damage/modification).

I recently drove my old car through the auto wash (to prep for sale) and it got water in 1 side. They are 3-4 year old aftermarket headlamps. Dried in a week. I could have dried it in a day by removing the bulb and leaving it in the sun. No more "auto" high pressure washes for me.

Either way, get it warrantied soonest. Shouldn't happen in the first 1-2 years, IMO. Car washes are just something to be aware of.

This made me think of m dad and I thank you for that. Dad and I were test driving a 1971 Pontiac Catalina. He was deciding between it and a Ford Torino Fastback gf (with CD a vinyl roof, how rare is that?) and at a stop light, the guy behind us ran up and knocked on dads window. Dad rolled it down and the man suggested we pull over and look at both of our tail lamps. The light changed, dad pulled over into a gas station and we got out and walked back… there was one inch in the right and two inches of water sloshing around inside the lamps. We returned the Catalina and dad pointed out the problem, sorry but not interested in a new car that had aquariums for tail lamps and we rode home in the 71 Torino. It was may senior high school ride when I could cagoule the keys away on date nights. LOL
