Hate the black plastic honeycomb grill

Who else hates the black trim plastic grill. I even took the entire front out to paint the grill (that is how the grill comes out) still does not look awesome. And the recess collects dirt and dust which looks grayish white in color. The plastic is v cheap quality. Does anybody know of a decent aftermarket grill?
The lobo's grill is also plastic, right?

Seriously???? In what world have you seen anything BUT plastic grills in the last 40 years. Every frontal fender bender looks like a plastic garage sale!!!
Even the chrome grills are plastic.

Simple search found several options but mainly black plastic. One site that works with stainless steel does not have pre-cuts for the Maverick yet but sells the material.

Early on after the Maverick was introduced, there was a knock off company selling Raptor styled grilles with the big FORD block letters for Mavericks but they are no longer listed on eBay. Haven't seen them since.

I kinda l like Mungo Jerry, definitely keeps that 70's vibe going for sure! Need a thread just for us 70's folk that reflect the way it was.

Love it.... cause It came with it! Got enough money spent on other things that didnt come with it, like fender flares, hood protecter, mud flaps, body molding, tailgate lettering, fold up lockable bed cover, floor mats, front window tint, day/night mirror w/remote, door and rear pass speaker swap..... DONE.

Plus gives it that matte black look like all the other outer mods except the body colored molding. Looks good just the way it is on my ruby red.

No point for me to say anything, you said it all, right on !!

I have to be honest, while i fully understand the grille being plastic (and i don't mind), its funny people run out immediately after purchasing a new vehicle and add as much plastic accessories as possible (Fender flares, window guards, etc, etc, etc). Then they complain about the grille being plastic.
