Those of you that aren't getting air through the floor vents might have a bad blend door actuator. Small plastic box with a tiny electric motor with some plastic gears and lever.

I would think that if it isn't diverting to the floor it may still be blowing through the mid vents, easy to check. If the fan is running the air should be going where you direct, diagnosis time.

Do you have the FOOT vent activated as shown in my picture??

I'm just curious if anyone has extended the venting system to the back of the cab or to under the front seats for seat coolers.
Why? There's already vents under the front seats.

I think a lot of folks are confused, that even though they have AC on, if they want air through to the back seat. They have to absolutely positively have the FOOT VENT ALSO ON and illuminated. As in my picture below.

As was stated earlier, cool air sinks. If you need to cool your feet, this will be fine as the cool air will just pool in the footwells. I find the front air vents work fine if you direct them to the rear area.

Hey Glenn. Good call Thanks. So this is what I found. If I activate Max Air, that turns off the light on the foot. Then I activate the foot and the blower stays blowing hard but Max Air indicator light goes off. Also when both head and foot are activated there is very little air coming out of the under seat vents but when I deactivate the head or top vents then there is air coming thru the under seat vents so it seems this would be better for heating. But there is more than enough air circulating throughout the cab so I'm good

Oh I agree. The pictures and the video were just to prove positive, that there are vents already in place in the Maverick. In the right configuration they will provide some cool air underneath the driver and passenger seats to the rear seats.
I almost never use the under seat vent configuration. I have my dashboard vents aimed towards the ceiling of the truck to cool off the hot air first. I run my truck on auto air set at 70 to 72° 99% of the time. The cabin is so small there's so much air movement it cools it down really quick. Even on auto air.
Remember I'm in Nevada and Utah areas. Where temperatures are now 110°,115,° 117°. That means the interior of the truck is around 147° to 150°
I would have no qualms about taking this the Maverick to Death Valley anytime this month or next.
Last July I was in Death Valley with my Buick.

I thought those vents (under seats) were just heat ...
You mean to tell me AC vents through there as well?
Well I'll be ......

@crashdumie
I have not even thought about doing any kind of ducting for the rear because the Mav's AC is
the best I have had so far. Are you just not satisfied with your or do you have special needs to
get the rear of the cab cooler faster? (im thinking like keeping pets or even perishables back there).
Apparently you really feel it working back there if you press the foot icon on the climate controls.

Unfortunately, I have been deprived of ever getting a chance to sit back there while AC/Heat is running.

I do, however, have experience of using the "foot icon" to give my feet a warm-up or cool down as needed. Works well.
