Truck goes 2 days without driving into battery saver and less than a week for deep sleep, all updates done dealer bench tested battery twice and it has passed.
Fist 6 months it took 2 weeks to go to deep sleep ( sometime I travel on business and drive other vehicle)
Not sure if this is what you guys are seeing but it's super annoying
I’ve had mine for 2 months. One thing I learned is if I don’t lock the truck (which is in the garage with the door closed) the truck has “activity” with the fob? It’s about 15 feet away in the house. When I lock the truck it is completely off. I’ve never heard of this issue about battery sleep mode. Interesting.

When you lock the truck is is closer to being completely off than it is if you do not lock it. If you double lock with the key fob (press lock on fob twice) it turns off the delay off items sooner (radio, dash, white bulb for bed in third brake light, courtesy lights, plus Ford only knows what else). If even after the double lock the electric unlock happens when you approach with fob the computer has been waiting for the fob to approach so truck was not completely off.

I have had this issue one time since I picked up the truck in October of 22, and I'm pretty sure it was because I turned on the interior overhead lights on while running some phone charging cords and forgot to turn the light off, that's been the only time I have had the issue.

If the phone charging cords are left In and pull anything (maybe an led, over voltage switch or maybe a non air gap switch that leaks itsy bitsy current, or ?) The accessory circuit will remain active until the delay time off has passed (up to 90 minutes) or the SOC of 12v drops to 12.1 volts whichever occurs first. The light would also keep the circuit active. The manual recommends that nothing be left plugged in the power points for this reason.

I removed my Fordpass and Wifi connection and never got sleep mode again.

There's no need for a master disconnect for your audio. Just wire a proper turn on lead, instead of using the signal sensing turn on. I believe the previous poster was implying a master disconnect from the entire truck, which I'm sure would keep the truck functioning. I only mentioned pulling fuse 11, because that is strictly related to the telematics of the truck and nothing else. I, along with many others, believe that is the single biggest contributor to the battery getting drained when the truck isn't in use.
Thanks, but I originally had it wired from the fuse box, but got a lot of buzzing from it through my speakers and I tested my amp and even though my amp light was off, it still was drawing power (tester showed it) and the dealer said they would not test anything unless I had a separate kill switch for all my add ons.

I’ve resorted to turning off Wi-Fi and auto updates again. No more deep sleep for three days now.

I'm pretty sure that the dealer did this when they had my truck. No deep sleep messages, all lights work when I click my keyfob and everything is working.

I don't think my dealer did it. But I saw the directions posted on here and I did it. No problems for a few months now since I did it.

I've done all the things everyone has suggested but in 2 or 3 days battery drops from 12.1 to 11.7 and enters battery saver, following day deep sleep under 11.7. It's about a year old and first 7 or 8 months it would take 10 days to 2 weeks to get to deep sleep. Dealer has tested battery twice and can't replace unless it fails test. I haven't had to jump it it's just annoying that remote features and dome lights don't work. Seems there are enough folks with this issue that someone knows an attorney that might file a class action. I am a retired quality engineer with another automotive OEM I know Ford is aware of this but isn't addressing.

I’ve done that about a dozen times over the past two years. It works for a while and then comes back.

Every solution I’ve tried works for a while and then comes back.

I’ve not tried the Die Hard battery yet though. I think the person who first tried that is coming up on a year in March. If they haven’t had any issues since then I would call that the top solution that we are able to do ourselves.

Do you still have Wi-Fi enabled and auto updates as well?

What we need is a control to know all the specifics in play to know what actually fixed it.

If Wi-Fi and updates are disabled was that before or after you changed the battery?

I would hate to replace the battery and leave them enabled and six months later deep sleep comes back.

Fordpass app is still enabled. Wi-fi and auto updates, everything with the app is still fully functional. Remote start, etc. The changes I did do:

1. New Diehard Gold T4 470 CCA 585CA 70 minute reserve capacity battery

2.Disconnect switches for my aftermarket stereo additions (when I leave the truck, I complete disconnect my amplifiers from battery).

Thats it. 8 days and counting. I really believe when I took it in they reset the BCM because even with the new battery, the truck drained it within 2 days. Thats not normal.

Hope this helps!
