Tire Pressure Sensor let me know a new Michelin tire was low, the one out of four not made in USA, sorry to bash the canook tire, at least it was made in North America. It read on the speedo screen.

OK nice I guess Andy but if it’s causing problems why do we need to be told that I mean in years past we just checked myself regularly just saying wondering

My God. What are you guys talking about? My Maverick has been working fine. I think you've taken too deep of dive into this. If it's not working, take it back to the dealer and get it fixed.

I think you missed some of the posts. There are many people that have taken their trucks to the dealer multiple times, and the problem still persists. The dealers have been unable to remedy the problem in many cases, and people have new vehicles they cannot depend on. It may not be that big of a deal for those of us without problems, but others are not so lucky.

I have been to dealer twice, original battery replaced. Returned to dealer two weeks later after deep sleep and would not start. Dealer can't find the problem, Ford field engineer assigned 7 month old Lariat Hybrid is great truck, but there is a problem that is very difficult to isolate. Dealer will schedule repairs once Ford provides a fix.

Difficult ? Sounds like phantom draws so yeah, heck of a pickle Ford pit themselves in but then the maverick isn't the only model suffering.

The factory Continental tires were very worn at 16K so bought Michelin Defender2 tires which the one made in Canada was leaking. The set of tires, 3 were made in USA, looked identical but the odd tire started leaking and the TPS alerted me, not the stupid APP that drains the battery (s). I never said that these were factory tires, guessing y'all don't read the posts.
Did Read post. You said you got new Michelin tires did not say they were defender 2's, assumed you were replacing the OEM Michelin Primacy made in Mexico questioned if yours was actually made in Mexico. Check date on the one you got made in Canada, I believe that defender 2 were just recently changed (don't remember exactly what new rubber compound? Seems like something else also?). It may be that the Canadian one is an older stock than the other three?

Re $210 die hard. I'm not having deep sleep but am seeing no done light seldomly. In any case if I was I would put $40-$50 in envelope every time I did. I do not think battery replacement is long term cure but if a battery replacement for $1/day I would play that game. If I experienced a no start in 10°F I would most likely put $100 in envelope. I would even spring the $374 for the 99.999% pure lead agm if I thought it would be the cure, but I do not.
Just put novo maintainer on once a month and keep sulfation down as much as possible.
I think the sulfation is the problem. The battery sulfates from just setting around partially discharged. It gets discharged because of all the electronics that are running even when it is shut off, plus all the communication going on between the truck and Ford. After the battery gets a little sulfated, the time it takes to go into shut down mode gets shorter and shorter. You need a pulse desulfator battery minder to reverse the sulfation. Here is the one I use..........

So if you just plug your Maverick into the above trickle charge/desulfator while it is setting in the garage, you could probably call it a plug-in hybrid, a PHEV. And you should be eligible for the government rebates.

If the op would pull fuse 11, I'm betting the issue would go away. I feel like data being sent/received is the biggest drain on these trucks. I've not had any issues over 22k miles, but I pretty much drive all the time. I don't use the Ford pass app, and I put my keys down when I walk in the door. I figure pulling that fuse will help with the drain, and make those paranoid folks among us feel better too. Win win! I know, some like the app and use it often. In that case, Ford needs to install better batteries and make sure the truck charges them. Either way, its bonkers that people can't depend on their new vehicles. Get it together Ford!
Anyone put in a master disconnect switch?

It would kind of suck but within a week should be able to tell if it is a bad battery or problem with the truck.
I put in a master disconnect for my powered subwoofer and amplifier. I also have a Diehard T4 470 CCA 585CA battery now. No deep sleep issues for over a week.

Sam's club had them at $744 for 4, mounted balanced and road hazard, we travel a lot so wanted to be able to have tire shop anywhere, have two stores nearby.

There's no need for a master disconnect for your audio. Just wire a proper turn on lead, instead of using the signal sensing turn on. I believe the previous poster was implying a master disconnect from the entire truck, which I'm sure would keep the truck functioning. I only mentioned pulling fuse 11, because that is strictly related to the telematics of the truck and nothing else. I, along with many others, believe that is the single biggest contributor to the battery getting drained when the truck isn't in use.

Definitely on pulse desulfator minder. I use a noco genius 5 as I don't always put it on. It can spend 2-3 days on the slow blink optimize procedure. I am reluctant to use the 1-2 amp ones with the computer/sensors pulling what they do overnight. I intend to install the pigtail to the jump posts and hang the end out just under hood. (The noco has one with the rubber cover to keep dirt and moisture out). May even mount it in driver's door fender badge.

$744 = great. I moved from Sam's to Costco primarily due to store locations several years ago. I usually get my tires at Discount aka America's Tire/Tire Rack. As they price match and are everywhere. My Ford dealer sent me text that they will price match (and/or not sure which) free alignment with tire purchase. Since I will be buying tires before my 3yr/36k is up I will most likely buy them from him, have the works oil change and tell him to check any warranty possibilities. 😊. It looks like on my Michelin Primacy I will get about 30k miles (they are 45k rated). I put 35psi in them this am at 33°F so they will be pushing 40psi about 70°F.

Also, disconnect your wifi option so it stops communication with your home internet. Connect every month or two for updates and then disconnect again.
You must also turn off auto-updates since it automatically reactivates the wifi.

Does anyone else's hybrid sit outside during this winter that lives in mn/wi/mi? How have yours been? It's really beginning to look like only a matter of time until the issues start...
My '23 hybrid sat outside two days at motel. Once was -30 next day -29. Started both days. Otherwise always in garage overnite . .19,000 miles.
