Grille Lights installs?

I just finished installing Putco Virtual Blades on my 2024 XLT FX4. The work perfectly with the old style grille bar. Not sure how they would look on a 2025 front end. I installed the 15” pair with minor modifications to the grille bar.

How did you power them? I tried to power a longer virtual blade from the side marker light but it didn’t have enough power.

I unwired the left DRL circuit (CLF04) at the splice that is circled and cut and spliced a pigtail into ground GD 142. Then added a generic 2 pin connector with CLF04 as positive and GD142 as negative. Other side of the connector went to the Putco driver. Using Forscan I set the Left DRL circuit to DRL ONLY. I had previously changed my DRLs to Turn Signal using the instructions from the Master List. Splice S141 is located about 10 inches back on the left
Hiheadlight wiring harness. I highly recommend spending the $26 to get 72 hour access to the Ford Service website before making any wiring modifications. It will make the job much easier. The interactive wiring diagrams are absolutely awesome. I took a bit of time to learn to use it properly but it took all the guess work out of the modifications.
