"Ford sued him and won"
In this case it is the dealers requiring the contract. Not Ford
I would vote for Ford to require at least some of dealers to at least ask for the no sale contract to maintain their allocations.

I'd love to see a dealer sue a customer for this. Such great publicity for the dealer. 🤡

I just picked up my Mav from Granger on the 10th and didn't have to sign this.

I was a 22/vin/23 rollover cash purchase so that may have affected it, but i just went back through my paperwork and have nothing of the sort.

My perspective as someone who ordered, took delivery, and resold:

I placed the order for an EB when I really wanted a hybrid. Was never able to sit in one uncle well after ordering. The first one I drove was picking up my order. I appreciated the discount, but received no word of progress until I reached out to see how to proceed with rolling the order to a 2023 model. Then I found out I had a vin # and it would be built within a month or so. Really didn't plan on getting it for another year until that moment.

Turns out it was worth more than when I ordered and it wasn't exactly what I wanted, so I resold. Still not sold on the small infotainment screen and interior quality either. I didn't have any bad intentions, just would rather have a hybrid and took advantage of the value. I don't think I'm the type of consumer they're looking to limit with this paperwork...it's the folks who ordered multiple with plans to resell.

Any more news on this, just got an email from Granger with this no sale provision mentioned in it. Definitely keeping this truck for a while if it's as good as everyone one here seems to say, but don't like the idea of getting sued by Granger if I lose my job or something crazy and need to dump it.

How's this enforceable, if you finance the purchase outside of Ford/dealer? From the Ford/dealer perspective, I paid cash; half my money and the other half is from a bank. How would the dealer know, if I sold the Mav?

It was requested by the finance dept. but it was not required to complete the purchase. I was able to take delivery without signing it. Do not know why they would ask us to sign something like that anyway. Other than that the Granger experience has worked out well. I now have my Maverick in my driveway to enjoy! NOT 4 SALE....
