Okay people, after hearing Grangers response, are you convinced that they are just some greedy scum?

I can attest they are not! Everyone I have talked to that have bought from them, was more than happy with the experience. Including the 3 other buyers that ride in the Granger shuttle from the airport the day we picked up ours. They all just said it was such a great place to buy from. Honest, fair, speedy, helpful, and responsive to any issue. For me I still don't know how it ended up being a couple hundred dollars less than we thought we were paying once the billing was finalized, but I wasn't about to argue with em on that.

By the way we are loving our HPR Tremor, I hope y'all at Granger got to try some of the Maui treats we brought. We had an awesome trip and are now 7000 miles in on the truck and so happy with it. We will send you some more pictures of our adventures sometime. If Ford ever hybridized and off-road Maverick you will be hearing from us!

They did it, I believe to INCREASE their ALLOCATION or allotment...but I truly believe they LOST money on the XL buyers. Some folks bought lariats at 35k and got 3k off, I got 3k off an XL.
I also got a 2022 XL Ecoboost for about $19K. They offered $3K off with the expectation this would increase their future allocation. Prior to my vehicle being built I believe they learned Ford made a change to their allocation process and they lost money on this gamble. Despite losing money, they did not increase their price, add on any additional fees, or cancel my order. They honored their promotion likely LOSING money on my vehicle purchase. They are the most honest and helpful dealership you will ever find! Shame on all of you badmouthing them!

While you had a great experience with Granger but others didn’t. That doesn’t mean they can’t complain. I had one good experience with Granger but that was mine experience alone. I can’t assume they failed customer service with others.

I went to look at the Maverick at Mullinax Ford in Apopka (just outside of Orlando, FL) and they were charging $2k on the eb and $4k on the hybrid. The sales people there told me "it's to stop people from flipping the vehicles." I don't agree with markups, but at least make them known (it wasn't on the window sticker or online from what I could see) AND don't lie about the reason.

The dealership wouldn't care if I bought it then sold for a loss, why should they care if I sold for a profit? Just call it what it is and move on.

I ended up going to Coggin Ford in Deland and getting a higher trim level for less because I paid sticker and nothing more. I refuse to buy a vehicle with a markup, but understand why some people would be willing to.

I got this from Chip at Granger when I asked about a recent dealer ordered Maverick.

“We're pricing in the lot Mavericks for in-state at $1795 for paint protection and rustproofing over MSRP and out of state would be $5000 over that.”

Needless to say, I won’t be driving over state lines to buy from Granger. That is beyond shady. It seems kind of hostile towards potential customers.

Great experience ordering from them for my 2.0. I'll order a hybrid from them if they run another deal. Can't blame them for raising the prices on the ones on the lot, gaining back that money they lost on the 3k off deal. Wife couldn't make up her mind to order another one during the 1k off deal for a 24 MY.

SADLY... FORD AND FORD DEALERS ARE LOSING A LOT OF TRUST BUILT OVER GENERATIONS WITH THEIR AMERICAN CUSTOMERS. MY FIRST FORD DEALER EXPERIENCE WAS PICKING UP GRANPA'S NEW F100 IN 1953... BURNED MY TENDER HANDS ON THE HOT METAL DASH. MY MAVERICK IS ON THE WAY... WE'LL SEE HOW IT GOES. I CAN ONLY HOPE I DON'T GET BURNED AGAIN...
Keep your hands away from the dash, they scratch very easily. (I'm getting a dashpad for christmas) Look at my thread what do you want from Santa.

Did you ask them if you didn't flip the truck within a year, would they give you your $2000, or $4000 back? Just asking!

To clarify, my comment is mainly directed at Brianx
