Years ago, my Crown Victoria was tinted for Las Vegas, where 117F is a common summer temperature. After I helped another attorney's secretary with something, her husband insisted that we come to his shop so we could do it. Actually, my wife went, and turned down the hard-core tint.
A few years later I was in Iowa for graduate school. Headed for the airport on the freeway, a state police going the other way turned around on the freeway to stop me! I had to remove the front side window tinting.
