That's sad from one that has pushed a patrol car around for 33 years not to know the colors of the years of your inspection stickers or the license plate tag sticker colors Also I listened to the tape 3 times maybe I missed it but did not hear him apologize for a bad traffic stop either. Not sure but he must not know what a Maverick is and it's a new vehicle because they weren't out 2 years ago the last the red inspection sticker were out . . I would have apologize for the bad t - Stop just me .

It was an honest mistake, and he ended the traffic stop as soon as he saw my sticker was current. It would have been a different story if he tried to extend.

Hmmm, I don't think it's legal for police to pull you over for JUST inspection or registration issues anymore in VA. It was passed in 2021

Are these "state inspection stickers" the same as registration tabs? If so, do they not have the year on them? Idk how it works in VA but in Washington, you have 2 registration tabs, one is the month which you get when you first register the vehicle and that never changes, (each month has it's own color too for quick spotting) and the second tab is the year, which they cycle through colors but when you get close enough you can clearly see the last two digits of the year, like 23...

You are partly correct. He thought my sticker was expired two years going by the color from a distance and not seeing the year until he was up close to it.

This is what I'm using. I've had a few different dashcams over the years and this is the best one I've had. The most expensive too so that tells you how cheap I am.
I've had it a year and am pretty happy with it.
