The opposite here, was actually a part of why I got the FX4 package.
They should be WildPeak's, but wonder which ones now when Falken discontinued the AT3W's with the '4's'...

I will. Everything I read was the
opposite that the FX4 came with p225 AT but were Perilli Scorpions. Heard so much negativity on off road with the Perilli's was another reason why I upgraded to a larger size. Besides wanting a little more ground clearance, without sacrificing fuel economy. It may cost me a little but doubt it from what I have read.

Really appreciate that picture! Haven't been able to find any that shows it so well.
Might bite the bullet on them... since it's a quick and easy fix, and will look good with a red logo to match my FX4 decal and red tow hooks 🤓
They also stick out enough to provide decent protection to the sides of the truck.

I will say that everyone I know with Rokblokz has nothing but good things to say about them. I have been very happy with them on my truck.

The biggest negative is their price. There is another option for the Mavericks that is similar but I forget who makes them. Mabett or one of those chinese companies. But for the price, they are exactly the same. I've had issues with RokBlokz in the past where they sent the incorrect flaps and the return process is a nightmare even if you don't open the package. They want you to open it, take pics of all the items, then they approve the return and you pay for shipping. They are really overpriced pieces of plastic, let's be honest here. If I had to go back I'd get the cheaper knock offs.

Would a better tire be better?

Can a Maverick use that with the limited ground clearance?
Kind of...
But I'll get some Falken's too when these are dead!
And I was referring (mostly) to liking the black, FX4 only, rims. They will definitely look bad if curbing them though!

Yea as far as stock tires go, not too bad. I honestly thought they looked pretty good too. They are more A/S than A/T's but I think technically they are labelled A/T's? Can't remember for sure and don't really care to look right now lol.

Did get in some mild Off-Road today for the first time. And the Mav' (and 'dreaded' Pirelli's) did better than expected!
Was regular to medium rough forest service roads, some pretty big water holes (biggest was about ten(ish) inches deep) Medium sized rocks, thick mud and quite a bit of snow.
Only had three issues:
*Slid off the trail a bit and had a little tough time to get going. Was about 10⁰ incline and 7-8 inches of snow so the tires did not wanna grip. A bit of shoveling, back-and-forth action and 'calibrated' right foot got me out. (Held the momentum all the way up the trail since it became obvious that if I had stopped even 'in the groves' probably wouldn't been able to get going since it increased to about 14⁰ inclination at the end).
*Had two rather hard contacts with the ground, which sheard of two screws that hold the skidplate to the front airdam... Will straighten that and replace the bolts when I do a full oil change here soon (got 900ish miles on it). Also dragged thru the snow quite a bit, but that didn't really do anything and was expected with the rather low clearance.
*Noticed the left rear tail light sure gets hit pretty good with road spray. Will get mudflaps to stop that.

Overall was a good day!
Proved to be able to do all I'll be wanting from it. For more extreme stuff, exploring and overlanding, I got a built Jeep, so happy camper!

Good stuff! I got my FX4 leveled up, on 245/70/17 Falken Wildpeak Trails... Gets dirty a couple days a week or more. Great little truck for exploring. Enjoy it!
