Will those gorilla lugs work with bronco sport big bend wheels?
Since the BS wheels are sized to use 12mm studs, you don't need the "bulge" style with the extended taper, as it won't be in contact anyway.

Looks good. You’ll have to keep us posted on how the black coating holds up to chipping and whether these rust.

I want these but $180 in Canada. $150 CDN if I buy them in the US. A lot of money if they just end up rusting like the ones I bought off Amazon

A smaller contact patch results in higher pressure exerted on the wheel by the nut. Higher pressure means there's an increased chance of fracture. It's safer to use a nut that's designed for an OE wheel on an OE wheel (In theory, anyway).

Aftermarket wheels are typically designed to use the narrower seat, so they (in theory) would be made to handle higher pressures on that surface.
Have you ever seen a wheel that fractured becuse of this lug nut issue? I've never heard of it.

The Gorilla nuts are cheap and will not hold up to any kind of road salt. I'm sure if you lived in the southern US instead of Canada, they might not rust .

50k miles and 6 years on my focus st in Ohio and the gorilla lug nuts are still black, no rust or damage. OEM lugs are much lower quality than gorilla lugs. There are some other good brands besides gorilla as well but gorilla lugs are not cheap. OEM lugs are cheap. The caps eventually get seperated on the OEM FORD lug nuts from using and impact to tighten/loosen them

I agree, the OEM nuts are garbage. I've never had great luck with Gorilla nuts. I like McGard. To each his own.
