Good place for fire extinguisher?

I put mine behind the rear seat. Mounting bracket is held with zip ties.

I believe the allowable storage temperature is appropriate for in a house, but not for in a car in the sun. Check the label.

The small dry chemical extinguishers many owners are opting for have a low price but a couple of disadvantages; very messy and they expire after a few years.

I’ve opted for the Element E50 in our cars. Super easy to use and store in a variety of locations, non-toxic, no mess, no expiration or temperature storage issues.

In the Maverick it fits easily in the little cubby between the rear seat and the door and I snug it in with a pair of leather gloves, handy to have if fighting a fire.
