It rides better than I expected. My wife wasn't aware that I lowered the truck. She hasn't noticed or commented on it feeling bumpier. I used chamber bolts in the front. No issues aligning it

I did some customizing on my 2022 Lariat Hybrid. I've got 40,000 miles on her and she is still running great.

Some mods are:

1. Eibach Prokit
2. Painted the OEM rims with VHT gloss black wheel paint.
3. FX2 Hybrid decals
4. black Hybrid emblems.
5. 31 inch antenna.
6. Black 6 inch "minitruckin" decal on the tailgate.

Really dig the painted wheels. I had contemplated plasti-dipping mine but was unsure how the lariat wheels would look.....and yours look great.

Growing up in the 1960's we went to great lengths to avoid black wheels. I guess chrome wheels have gone the way of the dinosaur. How times change.

Looks great! Now you just need some AT tires to incorporate the FX decals.
I just happen to have a set of 18” AT for sale that have a low rolling resistance that we’re on my hybrid…

Yes, I used the VHT wheel paint clear coat after spraying the VHT gloss black wheel paint. Very minor orange peel. Can't notice it

I agree, I love chrome wheels! Black wheels look terrible unless you are up close to them. I'm old school and will swap for chrome if decent wheels were available.

The problem with black wheels is there's no contrast between wheel and tire. It's hard to see where the tire starts and the wheel begins. You can buy red piping that adheres to the rim lip which would improve the looks.

Looks great! This makes me want to lower my black appearance package XLT when it arrives. I think yours looks really good with the factory 18’s.
