Morning , I installed a 12 volt power socket above the passenger side cubby and wired it directly to the provided harness
which is plugged in , and ignition on with engine running.
It does not power up , I am trying to find out if fuse 84 is in fact installed , without taking the fuse box apart.
Does anybody who has already done this know if the fuse was in fact in place on their truck ?

So does this mean the inverter actually has 720 Watts? (12V * 60A = 720 Watts)

It's rated 400W 110AC continuous but one also has to account for extra 12V current due to conversion losses and allowance for surge draw. Plus power used internally for the module itself and small things like the LED indicators.

80-90% efficiency. So on the pessimistic end that 720W is now down to 576W.

In addition, I think the inverter has in internal cutout. I forget the video, but I remember seeing someone testing different loads on the inverter in a YouTube video. When he overloaded the outlet, not only did the output of the outlet cut out, but I think the indicator light started blinking. That sniffs to me like the inverter has internal safety limits and limit trip indication. The higher rated fuse is probably to take care of efficiency overhead, and to protect the truck from the inverter faulting to short internally.

Read in the service manual:

The DC/AC inverter converts 12 volts DC to 110 to 230V volts (Depending on market requirement) AC
to power AC devices rated 400 watts or less with the vehicle in park, or 300 watts or less with the
vehicle in drive.
