1st truck - hybrid XLT black appearance
Original rim 225/60R18
Spare - donut
I was under the impression that all hybrid would come with full size spare and not donut. Is that correct?

2nd truck - hybrid XLT lux pack, black appearance
Original rim 225/60 R18
Spare - full size. The issue is that the spare tire is size 215/60 R17
Can you safely drive with such different tires?

Very disappointed with Ford in this regard...

Agree Fords verbiage isn't clear and can be misleading. Full size spare is not the same as same size spare. I think Ford did this because of interference issues under the bed and economics is always a factor.
Short answer to driving with your different size spare is yes.
