17 inch "Full Size" spare vs. 18 inch, Any one else?

Get the correct size tire and rim. Remove the teeth on that cutter bar and take the air out of the "spare." Carry a plug in inflator. Problem solved.

Should fit with the teeth gone.

I put a matching 18" wheel and 235/60/18 tire there on my '23 XLT w/4K tow. Fit with a half inch to spare. No need to remove the teeth.

Last year. I have never called and waited for roadside assistance.
