Yep … Unless you suffer a blowout or puncture that roadside repair won’t fix. No win then, except for the tow company.
...which they also include in the purchase. "Roadside assistance / towing" for the years it's under full warranty is common for those vehicles with no spare.

I might do the same as you once I get my Maverick in - did you use the original spare tire rim for your fifth wheel and it fits fine while stowed underneath the vehicle?
Yes, the spare rim is same size as the original stock XL wheels. Everything fits, as the Wildpeaks are the same size as the original Continentals.

Good to know, thanks.

I ordered x5 Nokian APTs in 235/65/R17 size, so hopefully the spare will fit underneath in the spare tire slot in my incoming XLT Hybrid Lux with tow hitch.

@Syntax Error I'l be interested in hearing if this fits, and also how you like the tires. I came across those recently and they look very interesting and have some great reviews.

Hopefully I'll be able to give an update by next month since my Mav was just built yesterday and awaiting shipment and final prep.

Sorry about that ... Didn't come through in the post...
Yeah, a few other forums, folks use green text to indicate sarcasm. Wish that would catch on here...

Guess I am an old guy who doesn't want to crawl under the back of the truck to rotate the spare.
It's not the same size (close) and not the same style wheel as the other 4 plus the TMPI thing.
Just my 2 cents.

Which mode did you use?
FYI someone posted somewhere that during the production that the frequency used in the mavericks was changed so this there may be that problem. Also I believe the gm antenna is on the end of the aftermarket one and the Ford antenna is on the right side so that could also be an issue?
