Guess the daze (sic) of waiting 13 months (not a typo) and happy…or at minimum resigned to that fate, are waaaaaay back in the rear view mirror.

The years when Mavericks sold out production in a matter of weeks... Follow the delivery threads during that period. Your wait is mild in comparison.
No doubt. I looked at the maverick back then and went another direction once I saw wait times. The ‘25 refresh and was hybrid was what got me to do this now.

In southeastern PA awaiting my hybrid maverick. Built 5/21 shipped 5/24 and showed 6/9 as delivery date. 9 days later still no truck
Window shows convoy so I guess no rail at all to a holding lot? Dealer doesn’t seem to know any more then what I can see on Ford tracking. Has this been everyone’s experience? The dates seem to be wishful and arbitrary. They are sucking the joy out of this experience lol
If I were in your situation, I would chill out until next weekend (6/28). It’s probably going to show up just fine before the cutoff date. It’s super common, industry wide, for deliveries to run a week or two behind.

Then next weekend, I would go to your dealer and tell them you want a refund on your deposit since the car isn’t going to show up before the discounts end. See what they say. Maybe they will be will be able to figure out a way to lock the price in.

if they can’t lock the price in, that leaves you a week to find a different vehicle. There’s enough mavericks in stock that you should be able to find one with all of your desired options. You just may have to travel some distance to get it.

So glad that no matter what car I've ever bought I've not been so picky as to have to order it I've always been able to find the exact one I was looking for at a local dealer within 50 miles of my home.

I couldn't imagine waiting nearly a year or more for such a simple vehicle.

It took about 10 days after the "projected delivery date" to pick mine up. Delivery date was listed as Jan 11, picked it up on Jan 21. There was a big snowstorm up in the Kansas City area around that time that may have impacted the arrival.

Keep in mind that convoy doesn't mean truck transport the whole way.

My Mav shows convoy on the window sticker but the ramp information (redacted on downloaded window stickers but does show up on the physical one) indicated a rail yard that serves auto dealers throughout the state.

It likely came through Mexico into Arizona and may have sat in other rail yards and pulled by other railroads before ultimately picked up by Norfolk Southern.

443 Days and I had 20k miles by the time you joined. Hence the wait was well worth it. I had for gotten about it and got a surprise call that it had arrived. The car sat 4 days and then was put into service. No sitting on the dealer lot. I think that was key for me about a special order. I use most every feature too. So yeah, OP forgetaboutit until you get that call. Get your financing in order in the mean time.

Waited 18months for mine, but got hybrid Lariat under $30k.

HOWEVER, with the '22 to '23 switchover lost several options we wanted (they didn't click the right buttons), and they messed up our email address so we didn't get any updates whatsoever until the salesman called it had arrived LOLOLOLOL.

Dealers have no control over shipping. They will let you know when it arrives.

I'm trying to resist writing, "nine days? you must be new around here!", but I seem to be facing.

while waiting, I did find out that at least in my area you can stack the private offers ford can hand out,I got a $750 private offer on top of military appreciation. It did not have the two year barrier issue for veterans. $1000 for vets or active: so $1750 from ford plus employee pricing. Any vets waiting on one should check that on fords site and see if your zip code is eligible

Ok, so what is the definition of a private offer? Is that like the Farm Bureau discount? When I was reading the stipulation on the vets discount it sounded like you couldn't stack offers. Right now I am hoping to get the employee discount, and the vet discount, but if I can add that Farm Bureau discount also that would be great news. Right now the delivery of the truck is coming down to the wire for the expiration of some of these offers.

When I initially negotiated part of their offer was $750 (ford private offer) as listed on their offer sheet. That was in addition to the employee pricing. I told them I checked and received a certification code from ford for the $1000 military offer. They said typically you can’t stack but they would check. Came back and said it went through and I was good to go. They never said what the private offer of $750 fell under. I can try and find out

Also forgot to mention that the employee pricing at least would stick since you ordered prior to expiration of deal
